Huntington Learning Center of Blaine is Hiring an Education Manager Near Blaine, MN

Huntington Learning Centers have been helping students succeed in school for more than 45 years. Our tutoring programs accelerate academic results because we tailor each element to the student's unique needs. As a leader in the tutoring and test prep industry, our success is attributed not only to our highly acclaimed, instructional programs, but also to the qualified and devoted professionals who commit themselves to helping students achieve success in school each day.
Hours:

Part-time role with flexible hours up to 32 hours per week.
Some afterschool and Saturday hours will be needed.
School year: Center is open 10am-8:30pm Monday-Thursday, Fridays 11am-7pm, and Saturdays 9am-3pm.
Summer: Center is open 8am-7pm Monday -Thursday, Friday 8am-5pm, and Saturdays 9am-3pm.

What a typical day can look like:

Reviewing student learning programs to assess progress and making alterations when needed to ensure students achieve their goals.
Conferencing with parents to discuss student progress, next steps, and additional tutoring needs.
Regularly meeting with school teachers and counselors to support student progress.
Identifying and leading community and school-based marketing activities to raise awareness of our services and student results.
Training and supervising part-time teachers to fuel the highest quality teaching.
Teaching students when needed.

A successful candidate has the following:

A completed, 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
Teaching/tutoring experience a plus but not required.
3 years experience in education, relationship management and/or customer service.
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
Empathic approach and passion for helping kids achieve their academic goals.
Advocate for students' success and comfortable recommending additional tutoring services.
