Huntington Travel Plaza in Huntington, OR is looking for one assistant manager to join our 30 person strong team. We are located on 5945 Us Hwy 30. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working, Shows a lot of leadership, and an incredible multi-tasker.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders
• Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
• Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
• Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
• Ensure product quality, store cleanliness, maintenance and security standards, and customer service standards are met
• Staff, and schedule appropriately to maintain labor goals and to drive sales
• Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed
• Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering processes are taking place
• Fill in as store manager in the absence of facility General Manager

• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
• Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused environment
• Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
• Strong leadership qualities with an emphasis on oversight, coaching, team building, and delegating tasks to the appropriate individuals.
• Experience in a managerial role supervising multiple people and processes.
