Huntington University is Hiring a Data Specialist Near Huntington, IN

Job DescriptionHuntington University has an opening for a part-time/remote Data Specialist. The Data Specialist position represents Huntington University in a professional manner through the creating, overseeing, and coordinating of admissions data and processes for prospective students through matriculation for Assistant Vice president aid, admissions, and others as requested. This position serves the undergraduate admissions and financial aid offices.
Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others.
  • Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian college dedicated to educating men and women to impact our world for Christ.
  • Minimum:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Two to three years admissions/enrollment management or related field experience preferred.
    • Experience in database management and reporting.
    • Experience with automated email & text communication software.
  • Ability to adapt to high-pressure situations, working quickly and effectively.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a team player.
  • Commitment to continuous process improvement
    • Reflects a Christ-like spirit in work ethic and interpersonal relationships. Willing to empathize with students and work in the best interest of all students, staff, and faculty.
  • Should communicate effectively one to one and in small groups.
  • Good management skills.
  • Strong Christian faith, commitment, and volunteer service experience.
  • Preferred:
    • Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education
    • A working knowledge of MSOffice and experience with CRM.
    • Familiarity with the college admissions process.
