Job Title: WHEELCHAIR ESCORTS DISPATCHER
Reports to: AM Supervisor (Senior Duty Manager)
Shifts: 5am- 2:30pm
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Answering inbound phone calls for wheelchair requests from Airlines.
- Monitoring inbound emails for wheelchair requests from Airlines and Security/Screener for meet and greet.
- Inputting Wheelchair Requests and Dispatching Ticket Counters, Arrivals and Boarding’s.
- Communicate Status of Wheelchair Requests to Airlines.
- Keep Track of Connecting flight Passengers and Maintain Log.
- Maintaining Communication with Senior Duty Manager/ Supervisor and Managers.
- Maintaining every escorts clocks ins times on their actual schedule by checking their schedule when they sign in.
- Maintaining every escorts comes to work with their work attire; uniform provided by Huntleigh.
- Maintaining every escorts wearing their badges property with company lanyard.
- Create and Maintain Operation Plan and Boarding Log.
- Maintain, organize and count Run Slips/ boarding pass.
- Keep track of every escorts when dispatching to have their AvTech device with them.
- Maintaining every AvTech device is working property and charged before signing to each escorts.
- Ability to help escorts with AvTech log ins.
- Able to set example to escorts how to run an operation by following company rules.
- Communicate any issues to Supervisors/Senior Duty Managers
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must speak and understand English.
- Airport experience a big plus
- Must have some supervisory experience
- Must be on time.
- Able to stay overtime to get the work done in timely manner
- Good customer service skill
- Good telephone etiquette
- Must be able to work at a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work multi-task.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be legal to work in the U.S.A.
