Huntsman is seeking a Traffic Representative supporting the Performance Products Division located in Conroe, TX . This position will report to the QA & Shipping Manager.

As the Traffic Representative you will :

Review inventory levels daily to ensure levels are sufficient to meet next day's scheduled drumming, toting, and shipping needs.

Coordinate shipments with Shipping Supervisor, MRP Controller for Production and Blend / Packaging as needed

• Review the Shipping Forecast in SAP and schedule all assigned shipments in conjunction with current / expected inventory.
• Secure the correct transportation equipment for each order by keeping in constant contact with carriers and keeping abreast of their equipment availability
• Promptly communicate to Customer Service and other interested parites any issues with meeting shipment schedule
• Reconcile daily shipments and ensure that post good issues and performed and shipments completed promptly in SAP
• Assist in the investigation and response of customer complaints
• On-call responsibilities to handle after-hour issues as needed
• Participate in the MRP process in connection to traffic and logistics

Other general responsibilities :

• Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
• Assists other employees in accomplishment of Huntsman company goals.
• Participates in and completes company-required training programs.
• Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.

Required Qualifications :

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Associate’s degree with 1 years of relevant working experience.
• May be substituted with 2 years of specific experience with SAP or traffic / shipping function.

Specific Skills and Knowledge

• Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs
• Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered during the course of employment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and / or dynamic organizational priorities is critical for job success
• Must be able to achieve and maintain DOT certification

Experience with SAP data querying preferred
