BARGAINING UNIT / LEVEL: Professional - Level 06/08
SALARY RANGE: $65,933 - $86,153 annually DOQ
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under the supervision of the District Interpretive Services Supervisor, work activities in this position primarily involve performing the daily operations of the nature interpretive or environmental education program by planning and presenting indoor and outdoor activities/programs; developing materials for educational brochures, labels and exhibits; promoting public interest in the study and appreciation of the natural environment and human impact on the environment; and preparing and presenting out-of-park educational programs. Creativity, initiative, enthusiasm, positive demeanor, confidentiality, and reliability are crucial to the success of this position.

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT USED: Artistic tools, personal computer including data base, scheduling, publishing, spreadsheet, power point, and word processing software; calculator, copy & fax machines; phone, GPS unit, radios, automobile.
