Strong kitchen experience is required for this position.

To be a successful Commissary Manager, you should eagerly participate in educational and training opportunities. The Commissary Manager must be able to motivate and positively influence staff.

A top candidate for this position must have strong leadership and organizational skills. The Commissary Manager should be firm, but also approachable.

Responsibilities :

• Directly oversee kitchen operations
• Cooperating with the area management and ownership, and assisting with anything from project planning to staff management.
• Nurturing positive working relationships with staff.
• Delegating daily tasks.
• Addressing any issues in a timely fashion.
• Supervising staff and controlling cost of products by following recipes and reducing waste
• Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
• Setting a good example for staff
• Hold regular meetings with team to discuss operations
• Order of products and maintaining a clean and organized facility
• Must be precise and calculated with orders to reduce waste and cost
• Coordinate with restaurant level management and staff for product deliveries

Requirements :

• Previous Kitchen Management Required
• Ability to develop SOPs
• Can Work with Limited Oversight and accomplish tasks
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Good observation skills.
• An ability to deliver constructive criticism.
• Computer literate and basic Math skills.
• An ability to identify weaknesses and provide coaching where necessary.
