This person will analyze inventory data, demand forecasts, and supply chain dynamics to help set safety stock for both US and Canada while developing plans to reduce slow-moving, obsolete product, and ensuring to have the right product at the right time. This role plays a critical part in driving inventory optimization initiatives, enhancing supply chain resilience, and fostering collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and factories. By leveraging data-driven insights and continuous improvement methodologies, the Analyst contributes to the enhancement of supply chain agility and overall business performance. RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with demand planning to develop and maintain inventory target through the monitoring of inventory level and demand plan. Manage the transfer purchasing order between Canada and the U.S. Manage/Track Excess and Obsolete inventory for US and Canada and make decisions that maximize inventory efficiency Manage and coordinate with Product Management team with the phase in/out of products Manage the activation and de-activation of products within the ERP system Support and participate in S&OP meetings monthly Works with supply plan team to have accurate and update ETA in the system. Coordinate and communicate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Solutions, Distribution, and Supply planning with any related inventory questions and inventory needs. Build, develop and maintain inventory reports and performance metrics that support key business decisions Provide ad-hoc reporting as necessary CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Strong knowledge of ERP systems and data retrieval tools to analyst inventory position Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint Strong knowledge of inventory management principles EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in Business, finance, or equivalent work experience required 2-3 years of experiences in inventory management or purchasing required Experience using Logility, AS400, or any planning tool preferred Experience with data visualization tools (specifically Power BI) preferred 1-2 years of sales forecasting and demand planning preferred Husqvarna is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer committed to providing equal opportunity in all of our employment practices, including selection, hiring, assignment, re-assignment, promotion, transfer, compensation, discipline and termination.
