About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing HR functions across the United States and Canada, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, managing training and development programs, driving performance management processes, and fostering a positive company culture. Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following: Administration
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial employment laws in both the United States and Canada.
Develop and update HR policies and procedures to reflect changes in legislation.
Conduct audits and investigations to ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards.
Maintain accurate and confidential team member records.
Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making.
Handle and oversee the day to day administrative tasks.
Team Member Relations
Address team member concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve team member retention.
Provide support and guidance to team members on HR-related matters.
Serve as a liaison between team members and management to address workplace concerns and resolve conflicts.
Training And Development
Design and implement training programs to enhance team member skills and career development.
Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps and recommend training initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
Performance Management
Lead the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance-related issues.
Develop and implement strategies to improve employee performance and productivity.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Masters in Human Resources preferred.
Certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations in both the United States and Canada.
Ceridian Dayforce experience
Proven experience in training and development, performance management, and employee relations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Leadership and management skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
