Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain machine and area cleanliness
• Work in a safe manner and maintain a safe work area
• Report all potentially unsafe conditions
• Operate equipment according to process sheets
• Maintain required level of efficiency
• Must verify components
• Must fill out all required Production Reports

Qualifications:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors and other plant personnel. Attention to detail and accuracy to completion of scheduled tasks. Must be able to operate equipment correctly, efficiently and safely in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods of time, bend, use hands to grasp, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear, and regularly required to climb and lift or move up to 20 lbs. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and to lift or move up to 40 lbs.

Work Environment:

The employee will work predominately in a manufacturing environment where the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be required including: safety glasses, steel toes shoes, and hearing protection. The employee may also be required to use sleeves or gloves, apron, and face shield upon assigned work tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
