A privately-owned resort in the popular Arizona vacation destination of Lake Havasu seeks a skilled Director of Finance to manage a small team and oversee all financial and accounting operations for the business.

Responsibilities

• Compile, maintain and distribute accurate financial statements and reports
• Oversee month end and annual closing process
• Ensure that tax obligations, payables and receivables are up to date
• Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies
• Oversee all payroll functions
• Oversee capex deployment, cash and banking processes
• Drive the budget and forecasting processes
• Effectively maintain all financial records

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality industry experience
• 5 years of Director-level finance/accounting management experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
• Strong familiarity with GAAP principles; ability to assure compliance with financial regulations
• Ability to analyze, interpret and present financial data
• Expert-level Excel skills and competence with multiple finance/accounting software systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
