From relatively close supervision to no supervision based on abilities, provides for day to day departmental operation and in-house technical assistance with installation, calibration, inspection, maintenance, performance verification, and repair of clinical equipment.

Installation, calibration, inspection, maintenance, performance verification, and repair of clinical applied electronic / mechanical equipment.
Repair, inspections and installations as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Electronics Associate degree or biomedical equipment technology is highly desirable, as well as experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Military experience will be evaluated.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Several years of experience in a Medical Center Clinical Engineering environment is favorable.
