Reporting to Sales Manager-Automotive and Non-Automotive, this position of Sales Engineer-Automotive and Non-Automotive is responsible and accountable for sales activities to automotive and non-automotive OEMs, automotive and non-automotive Tier Suppliers, and Distributors for accounts and/or territories assigned by the Vice President of Sales and/or the Sales Manager. The Sales Engineer participates in the development of department and personal goals and works closely with the management team to support the company's goals
With the corporate office located in Auburn Hills, MI, Hutchinson Precision Sealing Systems, Inc. specific branch's expertise is in designing and engineering products that protect and connect the components that transmit or transform energy in machines, vehicles, or aircraft. Parts experience significant and repeated stress, such as high or low temperatures, continuous vibrations or corrosive fluids or gas. This is the case for dynamic or static seals in engines: they keep foreign particles out and motor oil in. Fuel lines on three out of four automotive vehicles in Europe are equipped with Hutchinson precision seals. Our manufacturing site is located in Ensenada, Mexico.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in engineering, business or equivalent Plus a minimum of 2 years' experience as Sales Engineer; automotive/industrial markets or B2B sales.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
