Professional CPA office looking for an experienced bookkeeper. Must have accounting experience with small to medium sized businesses and be fluent in QuickBooks and QuickBooks online.
Job skills and duties include but are not limited to:
- Data entry
- Post payments and checks
- Process general ledger accounts, revenue and expenses
- Prepare bank reconciliations and analyze discrepancies to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Prepare sale tax filings
- Process payroll using QuickBooks Online Payroll, including preparing quarterly state and federal returns, W-2s, 1099s, new-hire reporting to Florida or other states as applicable
- Assist with year-end close processes
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Salary will be based on experience and education.
