Office Location: Heritage Valley Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, locations in Heritage Valley Beaver and Heritage Valley Sewickley.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday daylight, one weekend coverage per month and rotational coverage on holidays.

Provides assistance and support to physicians and other medical providers in assessing, planning, and providing patient care.

Will work both outpatient and inpatient. Provides care to patients in the office, answering tasks, results, medication refills, messages at both HVB and HVS. Inpatient care on a rotational basis for pulmonary floor and ICU coverage along with the attending physician.

Requirements

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner - Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Three years professional nursing experience in a clinical setting. Possession of a State Registered Nurse License. Possession of Nurse Practitioner State License.

Physician Assistant - Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Certification from the National Commission on Certifications of Physician’s Assistants.

Requires CPR certification and successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Previous office or clinical experience, ACLS certification.
