Engineers in our Structural Department work as part of a project team in the planning, concept design and detailed engineering of construction documents for industrial facilities. Structural Engineering tasks include design and drafting of structural steel, reinforced concrete, wood and masonry, framing, foundations, slabs, walls, equipment supports, and utility supports.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, required.
• Pursuing or have passed PE Exam. Professional Engineer a plus.
• Time management.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing professional and accurate working drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with building codes, industrial standards, design guidelines, etc.; IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI.
• Communication with client and equipment vendors.
• Communication and collaboration with all engineering and design disciplines.
• Proficient using engineering and design software including but not limited to AutoCAD or Civil 3D, Revit, RISA 3D, Enercalc and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Participate in project meetings and training initiatives.
• Periodically visit project sites to gather field information.
