Our client, a leading international freight forwarder and global logistics provider, is seeking a Director of Sales based in the New York City/New Jersey area.
This position is responsible for leading and growing the northeast sales team, developing a personal book of business, as well as developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company objectives, market trends, and customer requirements.
Requirements:
- 7 years of international freight forwarding experience with various trade lanes & verticals
- Sales leadership experience
- Somebody who can mentor/lead others with sales strategies to close business
- Ability to work well with global and regional contacts
