Summary

The Banquet Captain at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center is responsible for making the function space visually appealing and presenting the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include oversight of the general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment. This person may assist in scheduling required staff for banquet functions.

Qualifications

Qualifications for this position:

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

The starting rate for this position is $14.27 service charge.

This position always earns at least the Denver City minimum wage of $18.29 per hour.

Candidates must have open availability for mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Shift times may start as early as 3am or 4am and shifts may end at 11pm. Shift times will vary based on business demands.
