What is my role?

This is an HR Generalist role focusing on full-cycle HR support for the Hybrid Apparel San Bernardino Distribution Center facility. You will have the opportunity to work with all levels of employees and management at Hybrid to provide strategic talent acquisition, employee performance solutions, issue resolution, Compliance, Payroll & Benefits support, and help guide our company culture.

What You’ll Do

HR Generalist

  • Provide benefits, employee relations, and other administrative HR support for the San Bernardino location.
  • Ensure escalation of local issues to HR and Executive management as appropriate.
  • Remain up to date on compliance with employee-related Federal, State, and Local regulations to ensure timely and accurate reporting as required.
  • Collaborate with operations managers to build an overall understanding of all roles & responsibilities, employee performance metrics and goals.
  • Act as the liaison between temporary staffing agencies and operations management, ensuring all staffing requests are met and any issues are identified and resolved.
  • Track temp labor expense.

Onboarding, Training & Safety

  • Assist with onboarding efforts to ensure employees and temp associates start with the support and tools they need to succeed.
  • Responsible for Worker's Comp and OSHA safety postings, policies, and compliance in conjunction with the larger HR team.
  • Responsible for developing a consistent safety training schedule for all employees and temps to ensure Compliance and Safety standards are understood and acknowledged by all employees as appropriate.
  • Assist in injury/accident investigations, required documentation and filing Worker’s Comp claims with insurance carrier.
  • Responsible for distributing and collecting access cards for the building.
  • Some Time & Attendance administration is necessary in this role, prior experience in payroll administration is a strong plus.

Employee Engagement

  • Oversee and plan various projects and activities to support HR initiatives and employee relations/morale. This includes organizing and implementing employee events and meetings, employee wellness programs, and other company-sponsored activities.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 5 years of HR Generalist and/or talent acquisition experience required
  • ·PHR Certification or other similar certification is preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is required
  • Strong, accurate technical skills and a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Proficiency in HR and Payroll systems is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of recruiting and selection best practices and compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all company levels.
  • Must be a keen listener, able to maintain focus, extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information.
  • Strong teamwork skills and working collaboratively with a positive, service-oriented approach to others.
  • Strong, detailed organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
