- Interface with vendors daily and ensure appropriate levels of inventory.
- Maintain accurate (exact) files with product specs, pricing, terms and conditions, manufacturer warranties, etc.
- Manage regular stock orders and apply usage history to minimize disruption during production
- Provide feedback and assist in managing Min-Max.
- Identifying ideal purchasing opportunities and making PO recommendations based on usage history
- Proactively communicating with other departments about product allocation, delivery inquiries, and backorders
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
- Working knowledge in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) is required
- Working experience with MRP systems is a plus, but not required
- Attention to detail, process-mindedness, and good relationship-building skills.
- Sense of urgency with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Focused self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments concurrently and deliver on commitments.
