Brief DescriptionBuyer Manufacturing Components position can be located in either Sullivan IL or Princeton KY or Huntingdon TNResponsibilities: The Buyer is responsible for managing the development, delivery, cost and quality of all incoming production components by fostering strong relationships with the supply base. This includes coordinating activities to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost goals.

- Manage supplier performance in quality, delivery, price and technical support

- Visit suppliers on a regular scheduled basis for supplier quality reviews and audits
- Travel up to 30% with buyer scheduled visits with potential unscheduled travel
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical school and/or 3 or more year’s related experience and /or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
