Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Drive sales using your expert knowledge to assist customers in finding the perfect hydroponic systems and products to meet their needs..
- Engage customers by providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions—foster long-term relationships with our customers.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in hydroponics. Share your expertise with customers and train junior staff members.
- Assist with inventory control, restocking, and ensuring the store is well-organized and visually appealing.
- Lead by example and provide mentorship to junior sales associates. Assist in training new team members and promote a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Participate in and contribute to in-store events, workshops, and promotional activities to drive customer engagement and sales.
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the hydroponic or gardening industry.
- Strong knowledge of hydroponic systems, indoor gardening, and related products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for gardening and sustainability.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Starting at $19/hr DOE
