Summary :

A leading medical device client are searching for a Buyer/Planner Analyst Draper, Utah! In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and services essential for operations. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless procurement of goods and services for our organization.


Location : Onsite at the Draper, Utah location

Schedule : 8:00 am MST to 5:00 pm MST

PAY RATE RANGE : $34-$37 per hour

Contract Duration : 9 Months


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Production Plans: Create and manage manufacturing production plans based on the Master Production Schedule or project team requirements, handling complex and high-volume tasks independently.
• Resolve Production Issues : Address and resolve issues that prevent the execution of production plans, including non-conforming materials, equipment availability, and unexpected R&D needs.
• Capacity Planning: Analyze resource availability, develop short and mid-term capacity plans with manufacturing teams, and lead efforts to ensure plans are met.
• Work Order Management: Generate and oversee work orders using the Manufacturing Enterprise system, coordinating with production and other departments (quality, microbiology, engineering) to ensure production plans are achieved.

Required Skills:

• Industry Experience: Background in the medical device or regulated industry is essential.
• Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (e.g., JDE).
• Certifications: APICS certification is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, relationship management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Education and Experience:

• Degree: Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field is required.
• Experience: 2-4 years of finance-related experience is necessary.
