Summary:
A leading Medical Device company are actively seeking a motivated candidate to fill their Lab Tech opportunity. This is an 18-month contract role with opportunity to extend/ convert to FTE. This role is based out of Irvine, CA and the salary ranges between $20-25/hour depending on experience.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in medical technology preferred.
- 0-2 years’ experience required.
- Must have strong understanding of lab safety rules in wet and dry lab settings.
- Basic knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries and diseases.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support R&D, clinical, and training teams with their beating heart system needs, by providing animal or human cadaver fixed hearts and other beating heart equipment.
- Order, and maintain the inventory for the animal and human cadaver heart programs.
- Process and fix animal and/or human cadaver hearts to be used in beating heart systems.
- Maintain documentation for orders and shipments.
