Downstream Process Development Specialist
We are looking for a skilled professional in protein purification process development to join our biologics development team, focusing on both early and late-stage protein molecule development.


Key Responsibilities:

• Design and perform experiments to support Process Development activities and project objectives.
• Conduct high-throughput Hamilton purification to aid other departments.
• Choose suitable methods and techniques for experimental work.
• Develop competencies in data analysis and interpretation, including assessing data quality and identifying unusual results.
• Suggest alternatives, explore new methods, and consult with senior staff for problem-solving.
• Participate in team meetings and present findings, data interpretations, and conclusions.
• Exhibit strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, effectively explaining processes and outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with a team-oriented and problem-solving approach.
• Always prioritize safety in all tasks.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Master's or PhD not preferred).
• 0-2 years of industry experience.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

• Experience in biologics purification, particularly in affinity, ion exchange (IEX), and hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) is advantageous.
• Experience with analytical size-exclusion chromatography (SEC/HPLC) and capillary electrophoresis (CE R/NR) is a plus.
• Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), technology transfer, and bioprocess scale-up is preferred.
• Experience with design of experiments (DOE) is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Hamilton purification.
• Experience with AKTA systems.
• Familiarity with high-throughput system operations.
