- Collaborate with product, research, engineers, and other UX designers to create impactful, quality, user-centric experiences.
- Get hands-on experience designing and testing user-centered interfaces that support churches around the world.
- Influence and evolve our design strategy and processes to help us release more children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
- Receive coaching and mentorship from a UX Designer.
- Communicate new ideas as you grow both professionally and personally through learning and development opportunities.

You have…
- A Bachelor’s degree with an intended graduation date between December 2024 and May 2026.
- Experience designing with Figma.
- Passion for designing accessible, user-centric experiences.
- Knowledge of UX research methodologies.
- Analytical skills to transform user feedback into actionable insights.
- Eagerness to learn and a demonstrated self-starting initiative.
Exceptional candidates will have…
- Interest in design systems.
- Familiarity with Material 3 (Android) Design Patterns and Global Design Principles.
- Basic knowledge of React Native and other mobile app frameworks.
- Aptitude in systems thinking and information architecture.

Our Summer 2025 internship program is an onsite internship opportunity located in Colorado Springs, CO at Compassion's Global HQ. College juniors and seniors are invited to apply to join us in our mission to release children from poverty in Jesus' name. You will have the opportunity in the application to identify your desired area(s) of interest.
The application deadline is December 2, 2024 at 5pm MST.
Please note, internship positions change each year depending on the needs of each department.
BEFORE APPLYING FOR AN INTERNSHIP POSITION, please make sure you meet the applicant requirements for the Internship Program:
- Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintaining a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully uphold Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
- Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.
- Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.
- College student with a graduation date between December 2024 and May 2026.
- Available for the entire internship period: May 27 to August 1, 2025.
- Ability to work Monday - Friday from 8-5pm during the duration of the internship.
- Legally eligible for employment in the United States (i.e., if an international student, must already have a work or study visa, SSN, etc.).
