Hyundai Glovis is an integrated logistics company located in West Point, Georgia. We provide tier 1 logistics, warehousing and inventory services to Kia Georgia. We currently have an opening for a Warehouse Process Improvement Specialist

Requirements:

• 3-5 years' experience in a Process Improvement role (preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment).
• SAP skills or other warehouse inventory management system experience preferred.
• Strong Excel Skills to create and analyze spreadsheet data using complex formulas.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of other Microsoft Office such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment within all levels of company.

Job Duties To Include:

• Setup and optimize layouts to resolve logistic flow issues in warehouse
• Optimize replenish strategy for reorder point calculations to control overflows
• Update unoccupied locations for unassigned and future materials
• Maintain locations/barcode labels for new and damaged locations
• Maintain inventory system master for registering / updating shops and routes
• Maintain feeding order / repacking quantity and communicate discrepancy with Material Control
• Analyze / Conduct Time Studies for additional manpower / equipment needs
• Maintain Operations KPI Data
• Assist with countermeasure reports for operations issues
• Continuous improvement projects
