Summary:
The IT Department at Hyundai Glovis has (2) IT Specialist positions for immediate opening on 2nd Shift (2:00pm-11:00pm) and 3rd Shift (10:30pm-7:00am). Our IT specialists work in a high-speed production environment where time is of the essence. The ideal candidate is a dependable, punctual and technically proficient IT professional that specializes in desktop/mobile troubleshooting, has a strong understanding of LAN technologies, who can quickly assess an issue, identify a cause, repair/report the issue and upon completion, document as well as share details regarding what transpired.
This position is subject to a very flexible schedule and compensated overtime. The needs of the department and the production schedule will dictate the work schedule for this position.
Basic Requirements:
A bachelor's Degree is preferred, but not required.
2 years’ experience in IT or supporting users in a technical capacity
Must be able to independently lift and carry heavy IT equipment up to 50 lbs.
A solid understanding of: LAN (Wired/Wireless), Mobile Device Management, Desktop PC Troubleshooting, Printer Troubleshooting, Active Directory
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written
· Strong customer service skills
· Strong sense of professionalism
Responsibilities:
· Respond to all user issues, document, resolve and communicate with other IT members and subsequent shifts
· Thoroughly communicate project requirements from Department Heads to IT Management and follow-up throughout project milestones until completion
· Regularly rotate with other IT personnel to expand understanding of our scope of responsibility
· Monitor device state and other defined metrics as well as respond if prompted
· Manage all IT assets and IT expendable materials in support of Production
· Take initiative to improve processes for enhanced user support
Hours: Must be willing to work flexible hours.
Pay: $50,000-$54,000
2nd Shift: 2:00pm-11:00pm, 3rd Shift: 10:30pm-7:00am
