Parts Driver/Lot Attendant

Hyundai of Venice is seeking a well qualified candidate for a part-time/possible full-time position as a parts driver, both delivering and picking up parts at local dealerships/mechanic shops; as well as, to assist as a lot attendant here at the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Delivers parts to technicians
• Receive parts orders and locate stock
• Ensures that areas of the parts department are clean and properly stocked..
• Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts when instructed.
• Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors and dusting parts bins daily.
• Return all cores and Warranty parts back to the manufacturer
• Count inventory to insure accuracy
• Receive and locate Tires Daily.
• lifting boxes of up to 50 LBS
• carrying parts up and down stairs to delivery to technicians
• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
• Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
• Make key tags for and handle inventory of vehicles
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Able to work flexible schedules
• Must be able to work in all elements ie: heat, rain, wind, etc.
• Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
• Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
• Must be able to operate standard shift vehicles
• Previous automotive dealership experience a plus
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, drive, etc.
