Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System is Hiring a Maintenance Assistant Manager Near Prattville, AL

Summary of Position:

The Maintenance Assistant Manager will be responsible for the supervision, formulation, administration and coordination of industrial and manufacturing engineering projects, policies, processes, methods and procedures designed to improve operating performance, reduce waste and delays and otherwise promote cost reductions on a company-wide basis. Support new product start-up & launches.

Corporate:

  • Adheres to the HTGSS policies and procedures
  • Learns, demonstrates and upholds HTGSS Core Values
  • Complies with all HTGSS Certification standards; Management System (TS16949), Environmental ISO 14001-2015 and Health and Safety ISO 45001-2018 policies and procedures
  • Treats all HTGSS team members with respect and professional courtesy
  • Always strives to maintain a positive work environment
  • Manages the department budget efficiently as per approved annual budget
  • Performs additional assignments / duties as assigned

EHS

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment
  • Meets company safety goals

Technical:

  • Give direction to Maintenance Supervisor for Daily, Monthly, and Annual tasks
  • Maintains SAP maintenance system
  • Ensure spare parts are identified for needs of the plant
  • Ensure spare parts get ordered in a timely fashion by working closely with procurement and store room specialist
  • Ensure PM’s are done in a timely manner
  • Assist maintenance team with troubleshooting difficult issues when needed
  • Produce weekly / monthly reports to track maintenance effectiveness
  • Set plans for machine uptime improvements
  • Work with cross functional team to develop maintenance plans for July and December shutdown plans
  • Ensure all plant equipment is maintained and kept running for production needs
  • Supports Maintenance Manager role and fills in as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years Maintenance Leadership experience
  • Minimum of 5 years Industrial Maintenance experience


Education:

  • Associates degree or higher in technical field preferred


Software Skills Required

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of the business
  • Understands how to read and comprehend hydraulic and electrical prints
  • Previous leadership experience of a maintenance team
  • Able to handle high demands and pressures of a JIT manufacturing facility

Additional Desired Skills a plus:

  • PLC programming
  • Urethane foam experience
  • Fast Pace or JIT manufacturing experience
