HYUR Health is seeking skilled Medical Assistants to fill full-time openings in Cincinnati, OH!

Requirements:

• Experience: 1-3 years of related work experience (preferred).
• Education: Diploma in Medical Assisting.
• Licenses/Certifications (preferred): National certification in Medical Assisting from an approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands-on externship completed and passed. Total online courses are not acceptable.
• Skills Required: Taking vital signs, blood draws, injections, medical terminology, relative experience, fast-paced office experience.
• Skills That Are a Plus: EPIC experience, active BLS, active CPR, experience in Family Practice, flexible schedule with provider.
• Other Requirements: Willingness to float between 1-2 locations per week. Must pass a background check, medical test, skill test, and drug test.

Responsibilities:

Assist providers (MD/NP, PA) with patient care, including recording medical histories, scheduling appointments, taking vital signs, and performing procedures such as blood draws and injections. Support physicians during exams by interviewing patients and measuring vital signs. Manage back office duties such as maintaining provider pools, scheduling procedures, and logging into communication tools like Voalte and WebEx. Additionally, cross-train with front office duties, including answering phones and handling check-in/out.

Shift Information:

• Shifts vary between 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM
• Typically 5x8s
• Weekend rotations
