Description

• The New York State Board of Elections (SBOE) is seeking an expert-level Systems Administrator with extensive hardware and software management experience to serve as the contract administrative lead for the NYS Board of Elections' infrastructure.
• In addition to daily system administration responsibilities, this individual will participate with, and sometimes guide, other areas of SBOE IT in evaluation, testing, and implementation of new initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, servers, storage, software, directory services, networking, and cloud technologies.

Mandatory Qualifications
184 months of experience in managing and configuring Windows servers, including installation, setup, and troubleshooting of operating systems and software applications in virtual environments284 months of experience in managing a virtual infrastructure using VMware (including troubleshooting and host upgrades) hosted on Dell VxRail hyperconverged platform360 months of experience in administering, managing and configuring Veeam software, including Backup and Replication and Veeam Availability Orchestrator, Veeam One and Veeam Enterprise Manager460 months of experience in configuring, managing, maintaining and troubleshooting IIS servers548 months of experience in administering cloud environment.648 months of experience in administering Multifactor Authentication (MFA) solutions including SAML and single sign-on implementation 736 months creating scripts for monitoring and automation tasks using PowerShell, batch, and VBS8Bachelor's Degree.
