Job description
I&M Machine and Fabrication, a local, family-owned business since 1974, takes pride in the exceptional service their employees provide, making customer satisfaction their top priority for over 50 years. A complete service, a one stop shop encompassing a variety of services from Custom Metal Fabrication, Precision Machining to Industrial Metal Finishing.
Our facilities encompass a variety of machines ranging from Sheet and Tube Lasers, CNC Machining Centers, Powder Coating Lines to Deliver Trucks and everything in between needed for Custom Metal Fabrication, Precision Machining to Industrial Metal Finishing.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee daily shipping/receiving operations
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and availability of products.
- Create and manage shipping orders in system
- Analyze and resolve any shipping issues that may arise
- Work with all departments to deliver orders on time to our customers.
- Supervise a team of multi skilled personnel
- Manage employee and material resources
- Provides adequate feedback for employee performance reviews
- All other duties assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in supervising
- High level of inventory experience preferred
- Prior shipping/receiving experience in our industry
- Ability to use computers and standard programs. Excel and inventory systems
- Must possess communication and people skills required to supervise and motivate employees
- Enforcing and compliance with Government regulations, safety programs, and company policies
- Ability to constantly move around the facility while tolerating hot/cold conditions
- Experience creating B.O.L and packing slips
