Job Overview:

The Senior Project Manager - Biopharmaceutical Operations, will play a crucial role in addressing single points of failure, improving processes, and optimizing operations when evaluating new facilities. You will work closely with our leadership team, acting as an extension of their expertise and providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and mitigate single points of failure within our operations
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives
• Lead the evaluation and optimization of new facilities
• Provide expert guidance on technical transfers, cell culture, formulation, and aseptic facilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence
• Serve as a trusted advisor and idea-generation partner for leadership
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance overall performance
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7 years of project management experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
• Proven expertise in technical transfers, cell culture, formulation, and aseptic facilities
• Strong understanding of GMP regulations and industry best practices
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including coaching, mentoring, and reading social cues
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification

Location and Travel Requirements:

• Based in Massachusetts
• Ability to be on-site at least 3 times per week
• Initial period requires full-time on-site presence to establish relationships and understand processes
• Flexibility to adjust on-site presence based on project needs
