Following the combination of ISC Logistics and the global service parts organization (GSPO) we are creating a new Logistics and Service Fulfillment organization for the Indonesia zone. The Logistics Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the management on international inbound, warehousing, consolidation and transportation. This includes developing, measuring and reporting process and performance metrics to drive improvements, supporting the fulfillment of customer orders and initiating improvements in logistics operation. The role helps and supports the Logistics Operations Leader as he/she leads and implements key projects that improve tools, process, productivity, and compliance.

Job Description

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Support and help implement the logistics strategy for the region in alignment with global logistics strategy in support of region business growth in both operations ISC and GSPO.
• Help manage the transportation and distribution warehouse operations and drive the continuous improvements.
• Roll out the global warehouse standard and optimize the warehouse operations.
• Manage the import and export operations (both for Fulfillments and Services)
• Financial responsibilities related to helping achieve Operation Plan (OP) performance.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with current, new and potential service providers.
• Overcome roadblocks to ensure delivery is made in line with internal and external customers’ requirements.
• Support and enable standardization of transportation processes across the region.
• Help drive Variable Cost Productivity initiatives.
• Lead the FTA programs as applicable.
• Work cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, service operations, supply chain and finance to identify improvement opportunities and implement successful changes.
• Support change initiatives to enable logistics to reach a world-class level of operations.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in logistics, engineering, or supply chain management.
• Solid knowledge and experience in transportation, import and export and warehousing management.
• Proven ability to meet deadline in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 5% of time.
