I20 Technologies is Hiring a CNC Programmer Near Virginia, VA

Job Title: CNC Programmer
Job Location: Virginia Beach VA
Job Type: Direct Hire /Full Time

Note:
CNC Programmer with Mastercam experience is a must.
Metals Manufacturing

10 hours shift and 4 days a week role.
Monday thru Thursday.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop CNC programs using MasterCAM software to produce machined parts efficiently
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for CNC machining operations
  • Design jigs and fixtures for machine and fabrication requirements
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to validate and optimize program performance
  • Collaborate with customers and machinists to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
  • Perform quality checks on machined parts to ensure conformance to specifications

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or 5-year CNC Programming experience
  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for CNC programming, such as Mastercam
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and machining parameters
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric tolerances
  • Familiarity with CNC machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably JobBOSS, for managing production schedules and tracking job orders

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds
  • Stamina to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
  • Visual acuity and attention to detail for inspecting machined parts
