Job Description:
As Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for the overall quality clinical outcomes of the facility. This is achieved by working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary teams, as well as providing direct supervision to the Nursing Department team.
Priority one will always be quality resident care, customer service and employee relations. This includes attracting and retaining top performing talented team members through training and coaching of staff.To accomplish this, the Director of Nursing position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, clinical knowledge, and leadership skills.
The ideal candidate for the Director of Nursing position will have previous experience in a nursing leadership role, a strong ability to work and collaborate with a team, and an in-depth knowledge of managing and training nursing staff through implementation of quality improvement programs.
