Job Title: Launch Tooling Engineer

Duration: 6 Months (Temporary Position)

Location: Arlington, TX

Job Description: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Launch Team for an exciting new project. As a Launch Team Member, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our upcoming launch. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate launch activities.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of launch plans and strategies.
• Monitoring and analyzing launch performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Flexibility to undertake various tasks as needed to ensure the success of the launch.

Specific Job Duties:

• Plans, designs, and drives continuous improvement of the manufacturing process in the industrial plant.
• Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
• Determines parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
• Performs a major role in troubleshooting process issues, root-causing product defects, and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate and implement changes suggested by Launch or Product Engineers. They focus more on technology (PLCs, Robots, Welding, etc.) and are responsible in general of secondary equipment (welding, clipping, wrapping, etc.).
• Maintain all injection mold tooling
• Organize all internal and external tooling repairs
• Review all new tooling to meet tooling standards
• Review and approve mold flow analysis on new tooling
• Review tooling designs to ensure IAC standard cycle time
• Process development on all new tooling
• Troubleshooting on current molding processes
• Ensure all critical product design issues are identified and resolved
• Optimize mold design, manufacturability and process capabilities

Education:

• Bachelor of Science Degree (plastic technology preferred)

Experience:

• 8 years of relevant experience is required.
