Overview
We are seeking a skilled Network Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking technologies and possess the ability to troubleshoot and maintain network systems effectively. Additionally, installing new cable and associated hardware technologies.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software - this includes new cabling projects
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Install new access points and control systems
- Collaborate with the IT team to optimize network performance
- Support existing cameras as well as installing new camera equpiment
- Document network configurations and procedures
Skills
- 2 years in IT systems
- Experience cabling and installing new network hardware equpiment
- Comfortable working on ladders and boom lifts
- Understanding of IP protocols
- Familiarity with high availability network setups
