Our skilled nursing facility is currently seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team on a temporary contract. Job Description:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to help patients recover from various medical conditions. You will assist in implementing customized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and provide essential support to ensure optimal rehabilitation outcomes. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in evaluating patients' conditions and needs.
  • Implement individualized treatment programs as directed by the supervising therapist.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about the recovery process and home exercises.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
