Position Summary : The Central Sterile tech processes and sterilizes instruments, equipment, and supplies to ensure the availability of instruments, supplies, and equipment to meet the needs of patient-care activities.

Utilizing universal precautions, decontaminates and sterilizes instruments and equipment to ensure they are safe for handling.

Displays leadership abilities by assuming responsibility / accountability for assigned unit activities and by supporting unit / division decisions to enhance patient and unit objectives.
