About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Underwriting to join their team. The successful candidate will be a top-notch leader and a visionary financial expert, with a strong background in senior living and preferably experience working with private equity groups. The role involves leading the development, implementation, and enhancement of underwriting strategy, as well as managing a team of underwriters, analysts, and associates to structure deals that ensure profits and protect investments. The VP of Underwriting will also be responsible for monitoring and assessing the team's performance, developing and tracking KPIs, and collaborating effectively with executive leadership to ensure smooth operations and desired outcomes.Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of full-time experience as a VP of Underwriting, with at least 7 years' in senior living, and a degree in business administration, finance, or real estate. A Master's or MBA is preferred. The role requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling, valuation techniques, and a strategic, proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be able to work full-time.
