Education & Experience Requirements

• 6 years of job-specific and related experience AND;
• Must possess demonstrated analytical capability; ability to work independently; excellent written and oral communication; ability to use machining equipment and hand tools; and blueprint reading, proficient computer skills, specifically in Microsoft office applications, Excel intermediate experience a plus.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist outside vendors
• Conduct repairs on stamping dies
• Continuous improvement of Die Maintenance Activities
• Die Maintenance area inventory control and organization
• Maintain and control fixture maintenance assignments and fixture preventative maintenance program
• Order spare parts
• Order, organize, and maintain supplies necessary to complete die maintenance duties
• Organize and prioritize machinist duties and tasks for all shifts
• Perform machinist duties and tasks according to work orders
• Stamping /Die Maintenance incident reports
• Stamping support
• Study fatigue and wear rates to prevent early failure
• Support new model builds
• Support new model die trials
• Track die preventative maintenance documentation
• Trouble shoot die problems
• Overtime may be assigned

• Training needs are based on IB-TECH’s training matrix for this position, relevant to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Associate must be able to occasionally lift up to 40lbs in single or multiple lifts. Associate must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 100lbs. Associate will frequently bend, twist, turn, squat kneel, overhead reach, climb stairs, and pinch grip small objects for up to 7 hours per day. Typical work environment includes; sitting, typing, writing in an office setting 2 hours per day and standing in manufacturing areas 7 hours per day. Associate must have a valid driver’s license. Idle time between job tasks is likely to exist. Break/Lunch periods are typical in an 8.5 hour day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
