Position Overview

Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next generation human resource information systems? As a PeopleSoft Developer at IBR, you will support the Agile based engineering of robust, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions for the Federal government hosted in AWS. This position will work closely with multiple teams to design, code, test, and implement features and capabilities for Oracle PeopleSoft web-based application customized to meet unique client requirements and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide Subject Matter Level technical expertise on complex and challenging information technology projects with experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 using Oracle’s PeopleSoft tools and integration standards by providing input on best technical practices, delivered and custom options, risks and impacts to other processes and systems.
• Responsible for design and development of computer software applications and/or database systems, evaluation of computer hardware and software, planning for communications and information requirements, system test, and system security.
• Provides support for early planning and conceptual stages of large, complex projects, PeopleSoft upgrades, updates, and fixes.
• Assesses the impact of PeopleSoft image updates and provide proposals for applying them
• Supports major projects from problem definition through problem resolution, and from feasibility analysis through project implementation.
• Reviews functional requirements, complete technical design, and development, perform detailed testing, and deliver technical specifications.
• Supports several tasks concurrently and evaluates problems of workflow, organization, and planning, and develops appropriate corrective actions and prepares and performs presentations at technical interchange meetings and project design reviews.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 10 years Software Development experience
• Strong technical background with Oracle PeopleSoft, experience with People HCM 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.60.07 is highly desired
• Expertise and domain knowledge of specific HR information system implementations built on PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials, or other enterprise HR System platforms
• Prior experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, updates and fixes required
• Experienced in providing PeopleSoft image solutions
• Experience with design, development, enhancement, troubleshooting and debugging of web applications.
• Experience interacting with operations support to resolve any urgent issues/bugs to the point that they are fully remediated.
• Experience developing and integrating complex software systems through the full SDLC.
• Experience with Agile Scrum
• Experience leading and mentoring junior team members
