Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs
- Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Admission and documentation in Electronic Medical records
- Picc care
- IV ABX
- Wound Care, Wound Vacc
- Peg tube
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as EKGs and laboratory work
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare issues, conditions, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control policies and protocols
- Comply with all state and federal regulations and licensing requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Experience in ostomy care, dermal fillers, triage, specimen collection processing, mammography, ventilating patients, administering injections, family planning, and laboratory procedures
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care needs
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing healthcare environments
