Job Overview:

The ideal candidate for this role of Contract Sales Manager will possess a proven track record of success in sales, leadership, particularly within a contract sales environment, coupled with a deep understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and principles. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively cultivating new sales opportunities and managing communication with both new and existing contract clients. Prior experience in manufacturing sales is required. The Contract Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of client communication, ensuring the fulfillment of their needs and requirements, including managing new product launches and quoting new jobs. Additionally, the role involves managing Iceberg's custom sales team, which currently includes one full-time sales lead. The candidate will work across departments at Iceberg to better serve customers and ensure all aspects of a customer's product development needs are addressed.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Drive sales growth through proactive account management
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Identify market trends and competitor activities to recommend strategies for growth
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track and manage account activities

Experience:

- Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or account management
- Strong ability to analyze data and market trends to drive sales strategies
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams
- Familiarity with technology sales processes and solutions
- Ability to meet sales targets and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
