Job Summary:

Duties:
- Administer dialysis treatment to patients following prescribed protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall condition during dialysis sessions.
- Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, lifestyle modifications, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for each patient.
- Perform catheter care and ensure proper maintenance to prevent infections.
- Utilize your knowledge of physiology to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.
- Work in various healthcare settings such as ambulatory surgery centers, teaching hospitals, or assisted living facilities.

Experience:
- Prior experience in dialysis nursing is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with pediatric dialysis or PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of internal medicine principles is beneficial for providing holistic patient care.
- Experience in a medical office or ambulatory surgery center setting is a plus.
- Strong background in catheter care and physiology knowledge is essential for this role.
