- Prepare cathode active materials for coating on electrode (aluminum foil)
- Characterization of battery materials by physical and chemical testing
- Preparation and assembly of batteries such as coin cells
- Testing and analysis of LFP based coin cells
- Assisting chemists in preparing new cathode materials
- High School degree required
- Associates degree preferred
- Enthusiastic colleague
- Detail oriented
- Good manual dexterity for working with glove box and assembly work
- Mechanically inclined and ability to lift 25 lbs
- Can operate and maintain applicable analytical instrumentation
- Excellent technical writing and oral presentation skills
- Be safety-oriented and proactive in safety and environmental practices in the lab
- Superior inter-personal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt and multitask in a dynamic environment
- Prior lab experience
- Battery experience
- Operation of laboratory instrumentation
Annual Bonus Target: 3%, subject to plan provisions.
