ICONIQ Homes is a new, local and fast growing home builder that is looking to add a Financial Controller position to our production team in Montgomery, TX. An individual who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment is best suited for this position. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and maintaining a positive attitude are a must. The Financial Controller will be responsible for a wide range of tasks. Some of the responsibilities are listed below. The salary for this job is $80K-$120K (depending on experience) plus performance bonuses. Benefits will be offered after the 90 day probationary period. The company is expanding so there will be opportunity to grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Oversee and manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Cost Management: Monitor and analyze costs associated with home building projects, providing insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency.
• Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Cash Management: Oversee cash flow management, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic investments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the home building or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Basic knowledge of excel, word, and is capable of learning other programs
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with systems like JD Edwards, SAP, or similar is a plus. Experience with Buildertrend would be great but not required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have a car
• Speaking Spanish is preferred but not required

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
