Job DetailsRatios: 1:6 flex based on needs in organization
NHRMC to Pender-29 miles
NHRMC to NHRMC Ortho-5 miles
NHRMC Ortho to Pender-27 miles
Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
Patient DiagnosesFloating between several medical, surgical, and telemetry units. Assisting in caring for patients held in our ED who are inpatient.
Special Procedures / Unit DetailsContract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID. During times of increased census typical ratios may be higher. Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff. May be preassigned to units as needed.
Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.
